The Boutaris family have been making wine for five generations, showing an unwavering devotion to the land. After leaving the Boutari Wine Group in 1997, Yannis Boutaris founded “Kyr-Yanni” which went on to become one of the Leaders of the Greek wine industry.

The Yianakohori Vineyard signaled the revival of an ancient local vineyard and paved the way to produce terroir wines, which revolutionised the scene in Greek wine making in recent years. The description and interpretation of their single grape variety is based on a distinctive, minimalistic approach, a tribute to the estate’s name printed on plain, elegant paper; a unique way of designing wine packaging labels.
